Privacy Policy
Quantura is billing and accounting software for Indian SMEs. Your invoices, parties and GST records belong to you. This page explains what we collect, why we hold it, and the limits on what we do with it.
1. Who we are
Quantura ("Quantura", "we", "us") operates the software available at app.taheriquantura.com. In this policy "you" means the business or person who creates a Quantura account, and "your data" means the records you enter or upload into it.
For privacy questions or requests, write to hello@quantura.app.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, business name, email, phone, GSTIN and password (stored only as a hash, never in readable form).
- Business records you enter: invoices, purchases, products, stock, parties, payments, tasks and notes.
- Billing details for paid plans: plan, invoices and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
- Technical logs: IP address, device and browser type, timestamps and error traces, kept to keep the service secure and to debug faults.
- Support messages you send us, including any screenshots or files you attach.
3. Why we hold it
- To run the features you asked for: billing, GST summaries, collections follow-ups and Tally sync.
- To authenticate you and keep unauthorised people out of your account.
- To provide support, investigate faults and prevent abuse or fraud.
- To bill you correctly and meet our own tax and record-keeping duties.
- To send service notices - renewals, downtime, security and material changes to this policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not rent, share or trade your party lists, customer contacts or turnover figures with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your business records to build marketing profiles of you or your customers.
4. Who can see your data
- Users you invite to your own workspace, at the access level you give them.
- Infrastructure and service providers who host, back up, email or process payments on our behalf, under contract and only for those purposes.
- A small number of Quantura staff, only where access is needed to operate the service or to resolve a support request you raised.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose - in which case we will tell you unless the law forbids it.
Where you use the Tally bridge, data moves between your Quantura account and the machine running Tally at your or your CA's premises. What happens to the data once it is in that Tally file is outside our control.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. Access is scoped per account, passwords are hashed, and backups are taken on a routine schedule.
No system is absolutely secure. We do not promise that a breach can never happen. What we do commit to is keeping reasonable, current safeguards in place and notifying affected users without undue delay if we find that their data has been exposed.
Your part matters too: keep your password private, use a strong one, remove team members who leave, and tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your business records for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, active records are deleted or anonymised within 90 days, except where we must keep invoices and payment records longer to satisfy tax and accounting law. Routine backups may retain copies for a short additional period before they rotate out.
7. Your choices
- Access and export: you can export your invoices, parties and ledgers from inside the app at any time.
- Correction: you can edit or correct your records directly, subject to the audit trail GST rules require.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your account and we will, subject to the retention rules above.
- Marketing: you can unsubscribe from product emails at any time. Service and billing notices continue while your account exists.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure basic, aggregated usage so we know which features are worth improving. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the app.
9. Children
Quantura is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will notify account holders by email before any change that materially reduces the protection of their data.
This page is maintained by the Quantura team to answer common questions about how the service works. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace advice from your own chartered accountant or lawyer.
